Thirty-plus years in DeKalb, out of the same building on Wurlitzer Drive.
DeKalb Mechanical, Inc. has worked out of 339 Wurlitzer Drive since 1991. Commercial and residential heating and cooling, commercial refrigeration, duct cleaning and indoor air quality, and a sheet metal fabrication shop that builds the ductwork underneath all of it, for our own jobs and for other contractors.

The shop builds for other contractors, not only for our own installs.
Galvanized steel, Koolduct, Thermaduct, black iron, stainless, aluminium, clad steel and paint grip come off the same bench as rectangular duct, round and spiral pipe, double-wall systems and rooftop curbs, standard components or custom. It is why DeKalb Mechanical is a SMACNA member, the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning Contractors' National Association, and why bid documents for commercial and institutional work go through the office on (815) 756-6528 rather than a separate supplier.

Heavy Metal Summer Experience
A summer program that gives DeKalb kids a look at the trades.
DeKalb Mechanical runs the Heavy Metal Summer Experience, a summer trades program for local young people, out of the same shop that builds the ductwork above. It is one more way this building stays part of the town it has worked in since 1991.

Office hours are Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Emergency service is answered 24 hours, the same commitment that has been printed on the trucks for years.
